Booksure

Terms of service

Draft of 5 November 2026

Draft. This document is being reviewed before Booksure takes paying customers. Highlighted parts are still to be filled in. If anything here is unclear, send us a message.

These terms are the agreement between [Operator’s legal name, for example “AutoZen Ltd”, company number and registered address] (“we”, “Booksure”) and the business that signs up (“you”). Please read them before you create an account. Customers who book with a business do not agree to these terms; their booking is with that business.

1. The service

Booksure gives your business a booking page, a dashboard to manage bookings, customers, services and team, and emails to you and your customers. We describe what each plan includes on our pricing.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms for your business.
  • Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.

3. Free trial and payment

  • Your first 14 days are free. We do not ask for a card to start. We email you three days before the trial ends.
  • After the trial, the plan’s monthly or yearly price applies, plus VAT where it applies. If you do not continue, new online bookings stop; your existing bookings and data are kept until you close the account.
  • We do not take a commission on bookings. Any money your customers pay goes to you directly, not through Booksure.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. A change applies from your next billing period.

4. Your customers and your data

  • You own your business’s data, including your customers’ details. You can download it at any time.
  • You are the controller of your customers’ personal data, and must have a lawful reason to collect it and tell your customers how you use it. We process it for you under the data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms.
  • Do not use booking notes or questions to collect sensitive data, such as health details, unless you have a lawful reason and your customers’ consent.
  • Your bookings, prices and policies are between you and your customers. We are not a party to them.

5. Fair use

You must not use Booksure to:

  • break the law, or offer illegal services;
  • send spam, or email people who have not booked with you;
  • upload harmful code, or try to reach other businesses’ data;
  • overload the service, or copy it.

If you do, we may suspend your account. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

6. Availability

We work hard to keep Booksure running, but cannot promise it will never be unavailable. Emails depend on other providers and can occasionally be delayed or filtered as spam. We tell you about planned maintenance in the dashboard where we can.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to [the amount you paid us in those 12 months].

8. Closing your account

  • You can close your account at any time from Settings. Your booking page goes offline at once, and all of your business’s data is deleted 90 days later. Download it first if you want to keep it.
  • We may close an account with 30 days’ notice, or at once for a serious breach of these terms.
  • [Refunds on closing part-way through a paid period]

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can close your account before then.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
